history
Las Casuelas Restaurants have a long and proud heritage rooted in multiple generations of Delgado family cooking.  The recipes come originally from Mazatlan, Mexico– a rich, culinary city known for steaming street food and bustling open-air restaurants. As the Delgado family moved north, they brought the recipes with them, eventually opening  the Original Las Casuelas restaurant in downtown Palm Springs in 1958. An immediate and enduring hit, the family has since opened four more restaurants–each with their own unique ambience and menus, but rooted in the Delgado Family's timeless taste and tradition.

The Original Las Casuelas opened in Palm Springs in 1958 at its still thriving location: 368 North Palm Canyon Drive. Operated now by daughter Florence Delgado and granddaughter Alana Coffin, it was the first Mexican food restaurant in Palm Springs and is one of the oldest restaurants in the city.
